Sustain

History

Sustain existed from 1976 until 1982 and made 2 albums.
They started as a quartet, but in 1977 a saxophonist joined them. Their first LP, the second one on the UAP label, was released in 1978.
One of the songs became the tune of a broadcasting programme, presented by the fairly known dj Theo Stokkink.
During this period Sustain performed 2 to 3 times a week.
In 1980 they changed their name into Sustayn and turned into a more commercial band.
