When Phoenix split up, late 1970, Jos Hustings joined several groups, such as
Fresh Paint, playing covers mainly, and Full circle, only covers. He went on composing under the name of Carmine Queen. A few compositions were made for special projects, such as a documentary, a movie, a dance project, an art project and several other, smaller projects. Most of his other compositions have never been performed or recorded. Until now. In 1977 he joined the production team of Unidentified Artists for which he did 5 productions. In 1978 he met Bert Vermijs, performing as King's Ransom. Together they founded Kracq, so ending the musical life of Carmine Queen. One wonders, however.... |
